Here are a selection of maps that show the advantages of using VisiMap for creating, developing and recording ideas. You can see a larger copy of the image by simply clicking on it.

Conference Planning

conference  This map illustrates a number of considerations and reminds one that a change in one of the branches affects the others. A template like this can be used over and over again.

Contingency Planning

contigency  Here is another map that can be used as a template with the ability to expand the branches indefinitely. It is easy to create a new map of any branch that gets too big.

Future Planning

future This map was used by the organization concerned to record the areas they wanted to focus on in the coming year.

Job Description

genmanager  The small organization needed to replace their general manager and developed the criteria on the map.  Later they used it in the interviews and attached the responses of the candidates. It made it easy to compare them.

Summarizing

performance  A quick map made while reading an article keeps its main points available indefinitely.

The Four Quadrant Walk Around

walkaround  This graphic illustrates an important HBDI concept, - that you have to take all thinking styles and preferences into consideration when you develop any communication project. By looking at a brochure, an annual report, a newsletter by walking it around the quadrants, you will enhance the possibility that the future reader will actually benefit from it.

Art Project

artproject   Here is a template to focus your thinking on what you want to create.  As an amateur artist myself, I have found this one useful to make some decisions before I ever pick up a brush or a pencil.

Weekly Review

weekreview  This one was developed long before the Blackberry but it still reminds one what has to be looked at. Actual related tasks can be attached to the template
