Mission/Vision
Your organization began with a vision of making an
important contribution to the world. In the hurly burly of day-to-day
projects and crises such a vision can fade in importance and even disappear.
Experience tempers our original vision and sometimes we need to re-evaluate
where we are going and where we want to be.
Our consulting team can help you renew your energy by
commitment to your original objectives or lead you through the process of
finding new ones. Vision is something you see. We help you articulate that
vision so that you can turn it into clear objectives with measurable goals
and tasks.

Policy
Directors are key players in organizational success -
especially in the not- for-profit world. Both large and small organizations
quickly develop complicated issues and problems. The best organizations have
clearly defined policies that are understood and followed. The distinction
between board and staff is clear and both pursue their own tasks
cooperatively to the benefit of the entire organization.
If this description doesn't sound like your organization,
we can help you clarify issues and move together toward success. Our unique
skills, background and experience can help you achieve your organizational
goals.

Development
New programmes are complicated. Stakeholders bring
different concerns and biases to the table. New ideas often are trampled on
and wilt before they have a chance to grow. They need careful feeding and
take time and resources. They need to fit into a framework of existing
programs and enhance them
You can benefit from new tools and ways of planning that
will encourage all aspects of a new program to be included and valued. We
are strongly committed to helping community and not-for profit sector
organizations realize their full potential in the 21st century.

Program Reviews
Programs deliver the mission and mandate of an
organization. They depend on human and financial resources to make them
happen. Usually they begin with great enthusiasm and support and grow in
strength. but situations change - mandates shift, human and financial
resources are no longer available - needs change. Long continuing programs
may need injections of new people and resources, a change of focus,
resuscitation. Some programs may need to die so that better ones can be
allowed to take their place.
We have considerable experience in program review and can
undertake an assessment of how your program can be improved.

Coordination
Conferences, membership development, board and staff
manuals, public relations campaigns, fundraising campaigns, awards campaigns
and other short term assignments have a limited duration but take valuable
staff time from other important ongoing activities.
We bring long term experience in all these areas and are
happy to work with you on short term projects to meet your goals.

Facilitation
Groups frequently develop internal conflicts that lead to
dysfunction where the lines form behind two or more opposing views.
Frequently disagreements are attributed to personality conflicts. We know
that frequently we are seeing diverse thinking styles at work. We can help
you understand and value them.
We can also help you work through current issues in a
faster and more positive way, by using new learning methodologies that are
simple and effective

Assessments
Organizations have needs. Users of programs and services
also have needs. Often both sides need to clarify and articulate what they
want.
We are skilled in conducting in-depth interviews to
clarify objectives, spot opportunities, research successful models, assess
risks and pinpoint potential obstacles. We come back with recommendations
and help you find the best solutions.

Cost/Benefit
All programs have costs and benefits. When they are in
alignment the organization thrives; when they are not, there are endless
disagreements and crises that sap energy and sometimes overwhelm the
organization.
Sound program reviews include a clear understanding of the
cost and benefit of every program. Such benefits are both quantitative and
qualitative and both must be balanced.
Our experience includes assessments of many programs in a
variety of settings. Our skills include evaluation of current programs as
well as models to examine proposed programs and services.
