Understand How You Think

Your thinking style is unique. It combines nature and nurture, heredity and life experience, family and educational influences, careers and hobbies. All these have played a role in developing your thinking preferences. You are probably competent in many areas. Some of you prefer to concentrate on a particular style of thinking, while others are comfortable using a variety of styles. Using the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI),developed by business creativity expert, Ned Herrmann, we help you develop awareness and understanding of your personal thinking style.

Understand How Others Think

Once you know more about your own thinking style, it is easier to understand how others think. We can help see your collective capability as well as that of the individuals in your team or group. By seeing how you interact and support one another's capabilities, you can develop stronger teams. To do this we employ the HBDI group creativity assessment to discover your groups' learning styles. Develop and Refine Your Ideas

We are asked to be more innovative and creative. We go beyond talking about thinking outside the box by providing an idea organizing and structuring tool that encourages creativity and innovation. You can find models and our latest or previous newsletters here that will expand some of these ideas. We also offer training and consultation in helping you develop and act on your ideas.

This site preaches what it practises. Much of it has been created in VisiMap, a Mind Mapping software program based on the pen and paper mind map originally developed by Tony Buzan. You'll find many examples of the program here.

VisiMap, sometimes called brainstorming software or concept mapping software, is used extensively for strategic planning, knowledge management, and presentations. As a graphic organizer it also serves as a dynamic program interface that can be linked to any file, program or Web resource.

Implement Your Ideas

VisiMap is valuable in conceiving, organizing and structuring your ideas; but they also have to be implemented. That's where Project KickStart comes into play. Someone mistakenly called it Project Quickstart, but it's an appropriate misnomer because it accurately describes this effective project management software. By combining VisiMap and Project KickStart you are uniting the best characteristics of your right and left brain.
